Beginning tomorrow we will be going through each server and upgrading cPanel/WHM to version 11. The most obvious changes for customers will be the new WHM design and the addition of the X3 cPanel theme. Both of these are a significant improvement over previous versions. We highly recommend using the new X3 cPanel theme.
Version 11 also includes a Web Disk feature which will be disabled at the server level due to problems that quite a few cPanel users have run into. We do not want to introduce a feature that doesn't work reliably yet. We recommend disabling this feature for your customers in WHM's Feature Manager so that it does not show up in their cPanel.
With this upgrade will come a change in how RoundCube will be available. Due to conflicts with cPanel updates, RoundCube will no longer be available via the webmail interface. Instead, to access RoundCube you will need to go to http://roundcube.cpanel##.gzo.com/ (replace ## with your particular server number). One advantage of this will be that RoundCube will now be available on the standard HTTP port 80. So if your firewall or network happens to block the cPanel webmail port, you'll still be able to use RoundCube.
With this change the version of RoundCube will also be upgraded and it is possible that some of your existing data (address book, etc.) may be affected. We'll be doing our best to make sure that this does not happen but RoundCube still is essentially beta software and conflicts can occur. If you notice any problems with this, please do submit a ticket and we'll gladly look into it.
Lastly, we'll be able to configure a new subdomain on one of your domains to point to the new RoundCube location. For instance, you could have rc.yourdomain.com load the RoundCube page. You'll just need to submit a trouble ticket regarding this once your server has been upgraded. Please make sure that the subdomain that you want to use does not already exist.
I will be updating this thread with a list of servers that have been upgraded as we complete them. We will not begin these upgrades until tomorrow.
