Due to the increasingly poor manner in which applications are now treating self-signed SSL certificates we have installed a certificate issued by a true certificate authority (Geotrust/Equifax) on all of the major services on each server. This includes cPanel, WHM, Webmail, IMAP, POP3, and FTP.
Do not be alarmed if you get a warning about a certificate having been changed. This is expected and the certificate is issued as of today (9/22/08) by Equifax for *.gzo.com.
While this resolves the overly aggressive self-signed certificate errors you may still receive a certificate mismatch error. This will occur if you are not using you're server's address to access the particular service. You can either configure your software to accept the certificate and/or ignore the error or you can change your software to connect directly to your server's address (cpanel##.gzo.com).
If you experience any problems please submit a ticket and we'll help you get it resolved.
