    Important DNS Change Information

In our continuing effort to prepare for our upcoming hardware upgrades we have replaced our primary domain name server which has resulted in an IP address change.

The IP address for our Dallas based ns1.gzo.com has been changed from 67.228.46.56 to 108.60.211.19. The IP address for our Washington, DC based ns2.gzo.com will remain the same. If you are using our gzo.com name servers then you will not need to make any changes. If you are using your own custom name servers, you need to continue reading this announcement and make sure that you are using these two DNS addresses:

    ns1.gzo.com [108.60.211.19]
    ns2.gzo.com [174.37.246.244]

The IP addresses must be changed at the registrar for the domain that you are using for the custom name servers. The A records for your custom name servers must also be updated and in most cases you'll need to submit a ticket requesting that we do this.

It is important that you make any necessary changes as soon as possible. The old ns1.gzo.com IP address (67.228.46.56) will continue to function up until August 15th. After this point the server will be taken offline and this old IP address will no longer be responding to DNS requests. Updating to these new name server IP addresses will also provide for a seamless migration when it comes time to upgrade your server's hardware. We hope to begin these hardware upgrades in late August.

If you have any questions or concerns at all please don't hesitate to submit a ticket, even if it is just to confirm that your settings are correct. We're more than happy to help in any way possible.
