I have (of course) requested the upgrade straight away.

I suspect most people will grab this deal for $5.00 why not..... you may never use it but just in case always nice to have some extra juice to get by on.

I was just thinking about this the other day and here it is. I also remember when andrew did this, it was not long afterwards all his plans increased (doubled) in size. I wonder if that will be happening again. "hint hint...nudge nudge"

Need to upgrade account, first.

I've been planning on upgrading my account from basic to professional for storage *and* bandwidth purposes. I realized that I should upgrade first, *then* request the bandwidth increase.

I still can't figure out the official way to ask for an upgrade (and add backup services). Please explain. And yes, I have looked in forums for the answer already...

I'm also running quite low on disk space, so perhaps I should have upgraded before asking for the double bandwidth special too.

If you need your account upgraded just submit a ticket to request it. We'll honor the 50% bandwidth special with account upgrades, just not downgrades.

Increased disk allocations will be coming in some form or another but probably not until late this year or early next year as we continue to upgrade servers to handle this.
