Photo gallery recommendations?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good and easy photo gallery script I can integrate into an existing website?
It's for a martial arts school and would be for student pictures from year to year.
Ideally I'd like to find something that has categories to separate the years (2004,2005,2006,etc.), makes thumbnails and is easy to use as the school owner isn't exactly computer savvy.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Most people will say Gallery which you can even install via cpanel.
