  • Roundcube 0.1-stable released

"After more than two years of development we finally released the first stable version of RoundCube Webmail. It's not as feature rich as we'd like it to be but the released version is considered to run stable for a productive environment. Thanks to our users we fixed many bugs and added some nice new features. So go ahead and upgrade your installations now."

Wow! That's so cool! I wish they could support POP and not only IMAP boxes...

I have a seperate install of RC, and can not install 0.1 getting error

        magic_quotes_gpc: NOT OK(is '1', should be '0')

Whats the trick again. A line in the php.ini file.

Create a file named php.ini, put this line in it:

          magic_quotes_gpc = off

Upload the php.ini to the directory of the script that requires the setting change.

OK, i found my mistake. I left it in the root folder (public_html)
I read somewhere that php5 supported php.ini in public folder.

I got it working. Thanks Andrew

              0.1.1

              Time for 0.1.1

The first service update for RoundCube Webmail 0.1-stable is now available. It contains important bug fixes and updates of some incomplete localization files. We recommend to update all installations of 0.1-stable.

All of our servers have been updated.

Just as a heads up to anyone else that needs to update their own copy, the mysql.update.sql file has a syntax error in it which you'll need to fix.

FYI, it looks like RoundCube has finally made it in to cPanel as of April 4th. Right now it is only in the EDGE version which should make its way to the Release/Stable branches in due time.

All of our servers have been updated once again.

RoundCube has made it into the release version of cPanel and should arrive in the stable version within the next month at which point it will also be an option via cPanel.

When I tried to upgrade my local install, it complains with
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /abs/path/program/include/main.inc on line 74

Did you run across this error by any chance?

Haa.. was a php4/php5 chaining issue. Setting php to 5 solved it.

Nope. We didn't have any problems at all. You may want to try re-uploading that file and the others if necessary or you may have made a typo in the file to cause the syntax error.

                              version 0.3.1

has been released. A lot of changes and bug fixes. However looks like the version through CPanel is stuck in time
