Starting
my new job on the 19th  Current job has been getting slower and slower
since more people are shopping @ wal fart for cheap prices.
So got a new job, F/T with benefits (what I need!), also their in over time
mode right now to handle new business coming online etc. - probably will
be working bout 50 hours a week @ this new job + 10-15 hours @ my old job
for another month or two, so they can find a suitable replacement and I
can leave on the best of terms (or better be put on leave of absence).

Congrats! Hope you enjoy it! You'll have to let us know how it goes. :)

Good luck! Its always a bit stressful changing jobs. I changed just about a year ago and felt like a complete moron for the first few months! Just keep reminding yourself that it gets easier as the weeks go by!

The good thing bout this is obvious:
1) I'll be working 5 regular days @ the F/T job
2) 2 of those days I'll cap off with short shifts @ the P/T job
3) Only one regular full day @ the P/T job.
And thats for just a month or two anyways - but after that, just 5 days :)
No more pulling 10-13 days in a row just to get a full 80hr (2wk) paycheck :D
More time to devote to finishing my website (or redesign) and photography.

Actually started work last Friday. Feels good to actually work instead of sitting in a class,
which is all I've been doing for the past 5 weeks. Had to drop a few $$$ to upgrade my
work clothing to fit [more of dress shirts vs. polo] but otherwise no big deal.
I just can't wait to get out of training (sometime bout beginning of next month) so I can
start taking advantage of all the open overtime they have right now.
Rebuilding the Tiburon engine with all performance parts, all new pumps/gaskets/etc.
for now, though, with all this new found money. Can you say 350whp car by year's end?
Or if I swing things right, I could most likely get into something like a used '03 Acura RSX Type-S around Christmas.
