FWIW, the IT folks at the Large Multinational Corp. where I work plan to totally ignore Vista and wait for Windows v7.

Question for you Ubuntu fans: is 800 MHz/256 MB RAM enough for Ubuntu? I...

    Hmmm...

With Titanium shell, superb screen hinges, tank-like sturdiness, and any-color-as-long-as-it's-black looks, I prefer (ex-)IBM ThinkPads.

    Hmmm...

I have tried only a few CMS's. PHPwebsite was OK, but after that initial PLUNGE into CMS's, I'll probably stick with etomite. It is based on PHP w/ MySQL db, but it has a way to convert all pages...

I think I'll hang on to Win2000 Pro (like ChrisT is doing) and/or Win XP Pro. For a looooong time. In the meantime I'll look at a Linux flavor. Vista looks like its too CPU- and video- and...

    Mailman gets spam?

    Frank et al,

I am curious: how does spam get *IN* to your MailMan system?
Do you not make it "Members-only" posting?
Or is it your webhosting customer's?

Disciple, ya gotta look through as many forum posts first. There is too much good 'n' useful stuff in there. I'd recommend that you read the posts and comments on the forums before you jump in.
