I am using phpList 2.9.5

I have to change

define("PHPMAILER",0); to define("PHPMAILER",1); in config.php

to make HTML mail work correctly.

Another note for people trying this:

I used phpList from the script library and am testing it out.

My HTML mail was sent out as plain text with all the HTML code in the mail body. How can I fix this?

I think it has something to do with the interaction between Mozilla mailtool and SMTP server because after I was trying all different things and found now that I can use outlook...

I used Mozilla as my mail tool for more than a year and it worked fine for me until recently.

Now, I can receive mail, download mail and delete mail with no problem but I can not send mail....

I believe mail quota under cpanel does not work correctly, meaning a client can still send and receive mails even if he exceeds his quota. so your problem may not be quoa related.
