Using PhP, Perl script for FTP uploads.

I have a problem where the time and size the default php upload allows is too small for file i wanted uploaded to my site. File range from 20 to 100 megs. I have a problem having to train users how to download ftp program and have looked into the scripts offered and none supply what im looking for. NOTHING fancy it can be the most dull looking form without ANYTHING else other then uplading files. Can any suggest any solutions please. Thanks.

You'll be hard pushed to find a script to handle file sizes from 20 - 100 megs.
Most web servers have their HTTP upload limit capped. I know PHP defaults to about 16megs upon the default install.

Have you tried using the File Manager in cPanel to upload files?

A piece of FTP software is still your best bet however.

I have used invision file manager and am quite happy with it so far, even for larger files.
