    restoring account emails

Hi Everyone, I'm in kinda deep manure her

I backed up (cpanel backup) accounts from my old server and restored them at my new dathorn server. From the looks of it in CPanel, all the emails were restored with correct passwords and etc..

however, now that the domain has propogated over, I come to the realization that the account isn't recieving those emails.

i.e. test@test.com account can no longer access horde through webmail (can't login) and although I can POP3 in to send email out, I can't recieve any incoming emails to test@test.com

Did I miss a step in restoring these accounts? Did I have to somehow register these emails with the mailserver?

please if anyone has some light to shed

yep, andrew might be able to reimport everything correctly,

he uses a cpanel import utility, he only charges $0.50 a domain.

screw that then, i'll GLADLY pay andrew to do it all..

I think I found the culprit. unix permissions and ownership.

new email accounts i'm creating show up in cpanel, but I don't see the inbox file on the server. All emails to the new accounts i made went straight to the main user on the account. The permissions are <user> : mail instead of <user>:<user> as my old host. I think this is the problem.... working on trouble ticket now.
