              Sunny, South Africa!

East Coast of South Africa, Province (State) of KwaZulu-Natal, Town (more like a city these days) of Richards Bay, the area known as "Zululand". Currently winter here, nice and cool for us (aprox. 24 degrees cel.) clear bright blue skies

Fort Lauderdale in (usually) sunny south Florida.
                Lately it's been nonstop rain.

Openbox, did you finally settle on a house? Where abouts?

I'll be moving next week and I close on a house on the 30th. I'll be living between Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach...just about where the "tropical storm" landed

Growing up and spending a majority of my life in the Midwest, I'm going to have to get used to this whole storm affecting a whole state (or even multiple states) thing. At least when we have tornados, they usually leave a nice narrow path of destruction. Hurricanes seem to destroy everything.

Hey Openbox, I was in midwest, too. Have you ever been to Madison, the capitol of Wisconsin? It's a beautiful city. I went to university there in mid 90s.

I've been through there several times going back and forth between Iowa and Sheboygan, WI. Plus, I have an aunt and uncle that live in Madison. WI as a whole is very nice...at least the parts I've been to.
