Great, I'll get back to my house for two days until I get evacuated again.

Looks like TD5 is now "Emily" and has changed slightly,
looks like it'll be heading into the Gulf rather than curving
up for a hit along the East Coast, @least as of this post.

Have no fear, it won't hit the east coast. Given the nature of my luck, it will curve up into the Gulf and hit my house again. My house didn't sustain any damage although I have a bunch of $4!7 in my yard. Our power just came on about 30 minutes ago.

Welcome back Openbox Glad to see you survived okay.
I still think if it hits FL it'll come up and hit us on the East.
We're just now getting the new shingles on the roof (Starting today)
so it'll be just our luck it'll total what little we have done

I think we're all waiting for the big one to get us this year where ever we live in Florida. Doesn't help either that Mother Nature seem to be on steroids this year.

I think it's my cursed luck and the fact that I moved to FL that we're projected to get this record number of storms.

Looks like Emily is heading my way, so you guys in Florida are going to get a break from this one. Still have the wood in the garage from the last one if I need to board up or not. The yard is going to get a thorough cleaning this weekend. Although if it goes in south of us into Mexico, we're still going to get soaked.

I'm more worried about if it drifts north towards Houston, they've been slammed with rain recently. o_O
