I like the SMS idea! The only reason why I wouldn't like to set it up as the contact address is that most of phone ops (including mine) do impose a 160 chars limit. Maybe add a field like "SMS email" and use it to send short notifications like "Your account has been suspended" etc.?

Thats interesting. Will the message fail to get through if its over 160 chars, or will it be edited? If the latter, I think a message from dathorn would be enough to let you know something is up
