    Sales Questions

    Hello,

I'm a web designer & have several customers.
So I need a reseller acct. & saw some good reviews of your company.

I've probably tried around 6 hosts so far & hope to find a solid one.

Your Basic Plan looks sufficient for our needs. First of all I have some questions.

    1. Do you have great uptime? That's my # 1 concern with a host.

    2. Do you provide true 24 hr support? In other words, many hosts claim to provide that, but in actuallity you won't get a response in the "middle of the night."

    3. With the Basic plan, do you include the WHM control panel? Could I view a demo? Do you use the latest version of WHM & CPANEL?

    4. Do my customers have their own CPANEL after I set them up with WHM?

I noticed your sign up page doesn't work. Will this soon be resolved or can you manually take the order?

    I appreciate your help!

    Regards,
    Shawn

    1. No, we do not offer any such guarantees.

    2. Yes, we provide 24/7 support via our ticket system.

    3. Yes you get access to WHM. See www.cpanel.net for a demo.

Currently we do not have any accounts available which is why the order forms are offline.

      1) So far after being with Dathorn since the 20th of Jan. (this year),
their overall open on the server I'm on as been %99.701 give or take
with only total of under 10hours of downtime.

      2) Yes, I've had a response in under 30mins
when it was 3AM in the morning.

      3) All plans have the WHM panel; no demo, although
you can try cpanel.net; yes, although sometimes it is
a few versions behind, as Dathorn likes to go with "proven" versions,
unless its a security issue that prompts a upgrade.

      4) Yes

      5) As the message says, they are currently
not taking orders, but it looks like they will on the 19th.

it's well worth the wait for a new account, I have been with Dathorn since June of last year and I am very pleased ........

          Hang tight..........

PM me if you need a resonable space for an account, I have some extra space .... that you can "rent" until accounts are ready

          Cheers,

          Gary

Will new accounts be available when the server upgrade (from this thread) are completed?

If I may ask, what is the reason for not accepting new accounts?

Roughly, yes, cpanel36 (the new server) was ready to go but we've had to use it's hardware in cpanel04's replacement and are in the process of rebuilding one for cpanel36. Once this cpanel04 issue settles down we will open up new accounts.

How long do I have to wait for the order page active?

How long do I have to wait for set up a new account?

I hosted my two sites: ez4web.com and aanntt.com at other company but now I need to host some other sites for my own and some of my customers.

That is why I need a reseller account so I could do what ever I want to the sites but it seams so slow

Will Dathorn email me when it is ready?

                  Thanks,

                  Anh Nguyen

I would plan on Monday before new accounts are available. We're still getting things settled down with cpanel04.

I'm glad to hear that. Looks like this new server might fill up fast.
