Default www. doesnt work? Plus email host question

The main reason for this post is because I am trying to configure my email to point to @garrettmcalister.com. The problem is ... if I set everything up in WHM appropriately to get my email to work ... then my domain becomes http://garrettmcalister.com ... it will not respond to http://www.garrettmcalister.com.

So if I configure everything correctly so that my website responds to www.garrettmcalister.com ... then my email host becomes @www.garrettmcalister.com.

I saw this question (about the host) raised before but the answer didnt help me out too much. Any ideas?

    Current config: http://www.garrettmcalister.com
    Current email: ...@www.garrettmcalister.com

When you create garrettmcalister.com an alias should automatically be created for www.garrettmcalister.com

Probably best submit a trouble ticket or try to createt the alias through cpanel

Well ... I will agree that it should! I setup another account and it worked fine, but when I modify this account all i get is "cpanel49.gzo.com" in an all text screen when I try to get to www.garrettmcalister.com now. Without the www. the front page will load.

Not sure how I would create an alias through cpanel. From what I have read that only applies to email? Not sure than an alias would help even ... because both with and without the www. a page will load, but not the one that I need to load!

Please submit a trouble ticket for support so that we can look into this.
