    Mailman limits?

    Hi guys,

I'm considering migrating two Yahoogroups email forums to the mailman service of my Dathorn account.

One forum has around 3500, about 20 emails a day. The other one is 15000, with one monthly email.

Would this be to much of a tax on the mail server?

    Tia,

10 emails every 10 seconds is normally okay (i think, could be less but I know it was packets of 10 emails).

Awesome.. I don't care how long they take to be sent, it's more that I don't know how much of a load on the server it would be.

As far as I can recall there's no setting for it in mailman, is this something that is already pre-configured?

To be perfectly honest, I would not host a list of that size and frequency on our servers. 3500*20 is a lot of e-mails per day.
