I realize this is a bit delayed, but this will be occuring very shortly.

This took A LOT longer than it was supposed to due to RAM problems that were encountered. Now that the machine is booted we're having problems with all of our secondary IPs and are trying to get them responding as soon as possible.

Everything is now back up and responding so there should be no further problems right now, if you are having any issues please submit a ticket. This chasis swap replaced everything but the hard drives so if the problem was the RAM, RAID controller, or anything like that - it should go away. But if the server still continues to crash we will be making plans to swap out both hard drives but this is fairly easy to do with RAID-1 enabled.

The chasis swap did not solve the current system problems with cpanel04, I'm almost certain that it is a hard drive related issue. We're currently discussing the best way to go about replacing the drives.

We made some software changes earlier yesterday which seems to have fixed the problems with the hard drive, apparently it's a bug in RedHat Enterprise and the particular RAID card. However, this caused problems with disk quotas so we had to make further changes and currently the server is performing a file systems check, afterwards we should have quotas working soon and there shouldn't be any further random crashes throughout the day.

The file systems check is still in progress. It has already completed once but still resulted in errors in the root partition that required this to be done yet again (which started a couple of hours ago or so). We're currently throwing some possible ideas around if this isn't fixed the second time around.

After this very like fsck, disk quotas are now working just fine. However, we are now dealing with an e-mail problem cause by the disk corrections that were made during the fsck.

The e-mail related issues were solved quite some time ago but you will need to re-add any forwarders or default address settings that you may have had as these got "corrected" by the fsck which caused a loss of them entirely.
