vbullentin - moving threads high queries?

I just noticed, as I was cleaning up a forum and moving threads to another forum, that there is 35 queries being used to move the threads. Whether I move 2 or 40 its still 35 queries, which is obviously not good in a shared environment. My normal page loads are very low on queries, anyone else notice this on a Vbullentin forum? Im currently running 3.5.4 patched.
