    DaThorn QuickStart Software?

What happened to the 1.4mb QuickStart software download? I really liked using that...and I recently moved computers so I don't have/can't find it now..

Any chance of putting it back up?

You can download a fully functional trail copy of CPanel Wizard from RC's site: http://rcmedia.town-local.net/softwa...sid=1&Itemid=2

The QuickStart guide was the fore runner of the cPanel Wizard.

        [Edit to add]

Had an email exchange with RC just recently. RC is doing ok, he's real busy, lots of projects. Be sure to check out his other software too. Lots of nifty stuff.

Thanks for missing me I've been working my &^$$## off, basically. I have very little time for forum life these days... but do occassionally lurk here.

I DID ask the powers that be to please pull the quickstart software from the "public", so as to not compete with my commercial endeavors... And also, I had a hard drive "mishap" between then and now, so I don't even have a copy of the DIS version of the software. But if Andrew / Mods wish to distribute it here behind the scenes, that is fine with me. I coded it for Andrew and he is still more than welcome to use it!!

            Cheers...

                Is Quickstart broken?

I have QuickStart but it has stopped working. It was running on two systems and it is broken on both of them.

Did something change, am I doing something wrong, or does the software need to be upgraded?

This is a fabulous tool. If Mr. Cohen has a commercial product that does the same thing then I would not mind paying for it.
A very satisfied customer since 06/02/03. Dathorn rocks!

                    Robert,

What is the software not doing? I don't use the version you are using anymore as I have a new design now, but I'm curious as to what's not working... Nothing on it was configured to time out or any such nonsense...

                    Let me know please...

Yes, there is really no reason it shouldn't. It's basically just a self contained browser with password-ability. I get the feeling it's a firewall or proxy issue...
