    Is My Server Down?

There are a few things to check before you submit a ticket.

Do a spot check at Alertra.com

You can also try to ping or tracert to your domain: http://www.dnsstuff.com/

Make sure that your DNS info for your domains has propagated. This takes up to 3 days. Other things to check:
    • Try to access other sites on the internet. Most times it could be your ISP that is having issues.
    • Also make sure that your DNS info for your domain name has propagated over to our servers. This process of propagation can take up to 3 days.
    • Check the domain's nameservers, and make sure that they are configured correctly.
    • You can also check the status of your site by using the "Spot Check" service at http://Alertra.com. Add your domain into the box and click the "check" button. This will then check the accessability of your domain from 4 different geographical locations. This will show if there's an issue with your ISP.
    • Access the Announcements Forum and see if there's an issue with your server.
If you are subscribed to the Announcement Forum, you will receive email notification when we post a new announcement regarding the servers.

If all fails submit a ticket.
