    Roundcube: Failed to send message

I have a problem when one of my clients tries to send email via cpanel roundcube from their work place (it works fine elsewhere).

Login is fine as well as composing the message, however on hitting send they get 'failed to send message' (or similar) instead of 'message sent' that they get elsewhere.

I appreciate that this is presumably some config at their workplace blocking it as it is fine elsewhere - but just wondering if anyone has any pointers as to where to start looking... It seems rather strange that the rest of the script works without issue.

    cheers

How are they accessing webmail? I believe I've seen this occur before when accessed over the HTTP proxy (webmail.domain.com) instead of on the other cPanel ports.

      Thanks Andrew

They are using webmail.domain.com. So to clarify they should try domain.com:2095?

Just in case you didn't know about it, apart from webmail, cPanel has a number of other handy aliases:

              http://domain.com/cpanel <- this domain's cPanel
http://domain.com/whm <- WHM of the server this domain is on

              and so on.

              Glad it helped,
              Z.

Thanks ZYV - yep already have those - just wasn't aware of the http proxy issue when using webmail.domain.ext

                cheers
