Stopping delivery of email from one email address

I have an email address I use as my public contact email for domain registration. People can see this, so eventually the junk email grows over time, so I change the contact email every year or two. How do I stop email from being delivered to a particular email address?

Delete the email address in cpanel? Lower the quota so low that everything bounces back to the sender? What do you suggest?

I think I figured it out, if I delete the email account and also the forwarder, then the junk emails are no longer delivered...?

By default if you do not have an email account or forwarder setup for a particular address then the server will reject the email.

bhills - what I did with mine is I use an alias that forwards to my gmail account for my registrar email. Gmail does a great job of filtering out the spam. I've left mine the same now for about 3 years. If I ever change it, it will be changed to pleasedontspamme@mydomain.com as an alias. =)
