I noticed that there is now an option to install SSL certificates in the WHM and in cpanel. I seem to recall in the past having to submit a ticket to get an SSL. Is it now possible to get a custom SSL, from say DigiCert, and install it myself?

You've always been able to purchase your own SSL certificates and install them via WHM or cPanel.
