Update for osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2?

Good afternoon

Are there any plans to officially support the latest release for
osCommerce?
At the moment, the 'Preview Release 2.2' is installed by Dathorn
and since the 12th July 2003, the Release

osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2 (=osCommerce 2.2 MS2)

is available.
The problem is, that more and more modules requires the latest
release of OsCommerce and it would be great to have it officially
delivered by Dathorn.

I ask this, because some weeks ago I made the proposal to a friend
to use Dathorn, too, and now, he installed your (old) OsCommerce; at
the moment I am in discussion with another friend about a good provider
and I think he would like to setup OsCommerce, too...
therefore I try my best that I don't have to help to migrate those shops
to the newest release and that they can start with the newest release
right from the beginning.

from a year+ of experience in these forums, you would prolly get this kind of suggestions mostly from the senior members...

it might be a good thing if you install those kinds of apps (that came w/ cpanel) manually. you have better control over it, and get to use the latest version.
