    Re-install Cert: How-to

    I don't see anything on the boards about re-installing certs after a server upgrade. My server was upgraded and now my cert doesn't work.
    I did save the original cert code (from EV1) on my PC. Now what do I do?
    No info the the FAQ board. Anyone want to write a tutorial?

      I think you just install it same way you did the first time

          Not the same as first time

          Well, thanks Jonathan, but it's not just the same as the first time. It was easier.
          Anyway, I jumped in and here's how it went:
          First I found the codes in my archives on my PC for that domain. Then I logged into my WHM and went to "Install an SSL Certificate and Setup the Domain". I saw that it said my cert might be stored in the server so I started typing in the domain and username. I didn't even have time to click the "Fetch" button because the blanks actually filled themselves in. So I compared the codes in the fields to the ones I had saved and a cursory examination convinced me they were correct. I clicked "Do it".
