    cpanel26 upgrade/dns

I think I got this correct from the forum. But I want to double check.

After the upgrade my old domain name servers should still work as long as my register hasn't pulled the ip's directly from them. I'm currently using

    Name ServerNS51.GZO.COM
    Name ServerNS52.GZO.COM

Once the upgrade is complete should I swith my domains to the new

    DNS #1: dns79.gzo.com - 70.87.73.68
    DNS #2: dns80.gzo.com - 70.87.74.8

That is correct, you can still use the old nameservers after the upgrade. Ultimately it would be best if you switched to the new nameservers at some point after the upgrade. This will not cause any downtime or anything because they are using the same IPs.

        Status on cpanel26 upgrade?

What is the status on the cpanel26 upgrade? Are you halfway done? Any problems so far with cpanel40?

It's going slowly because of cpanel26. The largest accounts are almost finished transfering and they account for more than half of the disk that needs to be transfered.

            Custom nameservers on cpanel40

I can see all my domains in WHM now. Thanks. But I seem to have lost my custom nameserver records in DNS. Now I see dns79 and 80 when I lookup DNS records in nwtools.com. My domain registrar lists my custom nameservers, as I updated them today, same ns1 and ns2 nameservers with the new IPs.

How do I change my DNS records back? In WHM I can edit Zone Templates but Edit DNS Zones doesn't appear any longer.

Please submit a trouble ticket to request access to edit your own DNS zones via WHM again.
