    Scheduled Maintenance

Apparently about 8 of our servers are being moved between racks as a part of The Planet's scheduled maintenance that we were not notified about at all. I apologize for this, this should last no longer than an hour according to The Planet. I will do my best to make sure that this never happens again without prior notification.

All servers should now be back online, I've now found out that this was done for power reallocation on our rack. I do apologize for the inconvenience this downtime may have caused.

I've now been able to get the full story on this incident.

Our servers are being retrofitted with a new remote reboot technology and remote console. Unfortunately we ended up being the guinea pigs in their datacenter #2. This process will be done to all servers, so far only 11 of them have been done. It's only supposed to be a 15 minute downtime max per server, but some of the previous set reached nearly an hour. This should improve as the process is perfected.

I will announce the scheduled times for this to be done to the remaining servers as soon as I know.
