    11/9/04 - cpanel15 upgraded

UPDATE: Please read the second post in this thread, the upgrade has been pushed back to 11/9/04.

cpanel15 is tentatively scheduled for an upgrade to our new systems on 11/4/04. I will reply to this thread as soon as possible if the date changes. There will be no changes required by the customers for this move to take place, everything will be taken care of on our end and no IP addresses will change. This is a basic upgrade just as previous servers have gone through.

Unfortunately this has been moved back to 11/9/2004 as I normally do these upgrades personally and will be unable to do so tomorrow. A certain individual backed into my car while stopped at a stoplight this evening and I have to deal with getting estimates, etc. tomorrow.

The transfer process has now begun, about two hours earlier than was scheduled but we wanted to get this started as soon as possible. I will update this thread throughout the day to note the progress of this.

I apologize for the lack of progress updates thus far but currently the transfer process is about 90% complete.

The entire transfer progress is now complete. Within the next several hours we will be taking both the new and old cpanel15 servers offline to connect some additional hard drives and actually replace the old cpanel15 server with the new one. There may be an hour or so of downtime during this process.

The new server is now online, we're just working on getting some of the additional IPs to work and then we will be finished.

The upgrade has now been completed. However, it appears that some accounts were missing a portion of their files, particularly the ones directly in their public_html folder. If you have any files missing at all please submit a trouble ticket with the username for each domain that this affects and we can re-transfer them for you.
