    12/20/04 - cpanel30 upgrade

I apologize for the late notice on this but we want to get this out of the way before everyone's holiday festivities begin.

cpanel30 is tentatively scheduled for an upgrade to our new systems on 12/20/04. I will reply to this thread as soon as possible if the date changes. There will be no changes required by the customers for this move to take place, everything will be taken care of on our end and no IP addresses will change. This is a basic upgrade just as previous servers have gone through.

The transfer process has now begun. I will update this thread throughout the day to note the progress of this.

The transfer process is now roughly 80% complete, we've had to hold off on transfering accounts throughout most of the day as cpanel30 could not handle that along with the normal traffic load. The new server likely won't be replaced and put online until tomorrow.

The transfer process is now complete. Within the next several hours we will be taking both the new and old cpanel15 servers offline to connect some additional hard drives and actually replace the old cpanel15 server with the new one. There may be an hour or so of downtime during this process.

There were a handful of large-sized accounts that could not be transfered due to that problems with cpanel30. Once the new server is online please recreate these accounts and let us know via a ticket so that we can transfer the actual data over for you. I apologize for this inconvenience but the existing cpanel30 was truly on its last limb.

The server replacement will begin at roughly 7PM CST (in 30 minutes).

This upgrade process is now entirely complete, we had a bit of trouble getting one of the DNS servers back online so I waited to post this until everything was resolved.

Unfortunately, the WHM transfers didn't work correctly and you may notice that files are missing from your domains. If this is the case please submit a trouble ticket stating this and provide the username for each account that you want the data re-transfered for.
