Between approximately 9PM and 11PM CST tonight we will be taking the SpamAssassin server (sa01) offline to add another 2GB of RAM to it (for a total of 8GB). Total downtime should be no more than 20 minutes. During this time e-mails will not be scored by SpamAssassin.

This did not get completed as scheduled and has been re-scheduled for 4-6PM CST today. -
This upgrade has been completed.
Incoming spam has spiked rather high this week (a couple of thousand per minute) and as a result the server was unable to keep up with scoring e-mails as well as it had in the past. This additional RAM will allow it to handle quite a few more concurrent connections at any given time. We'll be monitoring it and will upgrade it even further if necessary.Comment
