The best lesssons learned, is the ones that you do the hard way. Ever touch something that your mom said was hot, and you just had to touch it? Yah...you learn it, and you don't forget it.

As for emails for contact for your hosting accounts online, either use the email your ISP provided you with, or better yet, use gmail. (all that space is good for something, and you can access it from anywhere)

      Inflexible...

Ever since the economy went to shits 4 years back, I found most companies became inflexible regarding late bill payments. My solution has been rather simple; just pay ahead by one month as to avoid late fees, shut offs, etc... Also, this can come in handy should one get layed off from work. The most annoying aspect of Dathorn was I had to drop the hat and process my account on the 9th cause Dathorn refuses to allow a one month advanced payment.

Our policy is very clear on this matter and our billing system sends 6-8 e-mails informing you of overdue invoices. If you fail to correct this within the time allotted then obviously actions will be taken. Even if you contact us and notify us of possible problems with paying within the 10 days we will work with you and not suspend the account unless it becomes a monthly ordeal.
I'd just like to comment on this in a positive light. I had one credit card cancelled before a new one arrived that I could use. I got the standard overdue notice and I sent an email about it, kept them informed, and it definitely was near 10 days, but service was not interrupted and there was no big deal. I got the new info plugged in and it billed successfully and everything continued without a hitch.

The policy is clear and they adhere to the policy. That's the best you can ask for.
