    New account question

    Hello,

In general the question is where would normally the new accounts go after 1 Feb, or can we express preferences while signing up for a new account (cpanel10). I am asking this because I am currently thinking about signing up for another account at Dathorn instead of using local ISP's hosting for a new domain, but this makes sense only if I'd have those brand new DNSs with IPs in the different class C networks

    Thanks,
    -Yury.

I just happened to check the new posts so I'll respond to this for fun:

I'm sure you will be happy with whatever server you're put on- my understanding is that upgrades are going to be done on all current servers in the near future. (like cp10)
It's hard for an outsider to guess which server is best, because we don't know how many customers are already using resources. So it may not be a good idea to request a server, since you/we are virtually blind.
Good hosts, which Dathorn is, usually put new customers where they are least likely to slow things down. =)

      Hi,

Yeah, I understand that, you are corrent. But you see, the matter was reather urgent and I absolutely needed those DNSs to host a geographical domain, so as I wanted to choose Dathorn again I just wanted them to confirm that I am going to be on the new server right away in early February, not after. OK, I think that that's already settled, if nothing changes the client gonna sign the contract with the local ISP.

      Sorry for the confusion.

I apologize for completely missing this thread. New accounts will be placed on the newest servers (cpanel38 and onward) within the next couple of weeks max.
