How do I subscribe to the announcements forum?

How do I subscribe to the announcements forum?

I read the instructions but I could not find the Forum Tools next to the Search. It seems to have been replaced by Quick Links. But on quick links I could not find "Subscribe to Forum". I did find a "Subscribe to Thread" elsewhere, but I do not think that is what I want.

Click on Thread Tools and the drop-down appears: Subscribe to this thread.
