Couple of questions:

I currently host somewhere else and have registered another domain for our church so I'll have two to manage. I noticed that the entry level account can have multiple domains so my question is this:

q1:
domain1.com and domain2.com both live in the same place. domain2.com will live as a directory off of domain1.com. If I goto www.domain2.com do I get a redirect to http://www.domain1.com/domain2 or does it remain as www.domain2.com to the end user?

q2:
If it remains www.domain2.com can I install a seperate phpBB and Mambo under domain2?

q3:
I'm an amatuer musician who also records music. If there a problem with .m3u/.mp3 transfers If the music is mine(i wrote and recorded the music)?

You could "park" the domain so that it is located in a directory of your main site, but it adds unnecessary complexity. I'd recommend you just set it up as one of your two sites.

At Dathorn you have a small "Web Hosting Manager" account that is the "behind the scenes" parent account. In this account you first create "Packages" ...a "package" is a configuration that allots disk space, bandwidth, and other hosting features. Then you assign that package to URLs. Since you have to assign at least one URL to at least one Package that you create, I would recommend you go ahead and plan on having two separate packages and URLS for the two sites. Much cleaner.

Both URLs will appear completely separate from the end user. Behind the scenes, on the server, all of your accounts would appear as subdirectories under your username. But that's hidden from the outside world, and all they see is the HTTP information in the browser address bar.

a1: If you create separate domains under separate accounts, each domain will be its own entity.

a2: Absolutely.

a3: No problem as long as you are the legal owner or have permission from the legal owner.
