I highly suggest that if you want forums, you buy a vbulletin license for only $160. It's 10x better than invision and will save you hundreds of dollars worth of time. Plus it is the internet's favorite and most popular, and shows your forums mean business. (or at least have a good invested foundation)

IPS/IPB can kiss me goodbye.
True, but I just laid out $130 on a telescope
Besides that, to be honest I still like my free..
lol I'll keep using IPB, just won't pay them for crap.
I'm just disappointed that the CEO had lied

- it took time for me to find out basic info about forum. It seems site is not working well, so click on one link and get other for instance.
- site is to narrow on giving information about forum software, like it is not good to gie full, detaled explanations.
- it seems, developers have quite strange relation to privacy, even basic privacy requirements are not fulfilled, ie, email adresses of forum users are wide open and available. I see on their support forum lots of people asking for better privacy and getting responces like: you do not need that. Strange indeed.

If you say it because of some of the links in the navigation menu of the website, yes, there's some things we still have to fix. The forum works fine, though, or did you get a bad link there?

The member's email is only shown if he chooses to show it. There's an option in the account's profile to "Hide email address from public?" There's also one to "Show others your online status?" In mine, for example, I chose to show my online status but hide my email address.
