Got this email from Saeven.net support:
They are right, whois.cart is broken, but you can't just "get" the upgrade files. Since the time I bought whois.cart, they have implemented their own beta helpdesk software, Auracle, which has a log in box just like you would expect, but no "Register" or "Password Reminder" link. And the password they provided with the registration doesn't work either.
<Sigh>. Oh well. I actually have not had a sign up via the automatic system since I installed the thing that didn't need my customer to go back in after several emails to navigate it, so I went into File Manager and deleted it. Buh bye!
If you are using whois.cart, and haven't upgraded recently, it is probably broken. Seems they compiled it with a flag to expire (although they are saying its Zend's fault, since they didn't provide the checkbox anymore).
A Zend Encoder issue was brought to light today that could render your installation inoperable if you are using a file encoded with version 3.5 - this would be whois.cart versions 2.2.34-2.2.42 (approximately 6 months old). Please access your whois.cart installation, and ensure that it is functional. If you get a message indicating that the 'files have expired' - do not worry, it is an easy fix. A resource page was placed at http://whoiscart.net/upgrade.htm - and a forum thread was started by users in the same circumstance at : http://whoiscart.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=5171
The patch set described at the first link will not affect themes, templates, mailed invoices, or even system settings. It will simply restore functionality.
Thank you for your continued support and patience, and please do not be alarmed - this message was sent to minimize downtime to those affected that haven't yet accessed their Whois.Cart() installations, or that don't do so on a daily basis.
