We lose American lives because of that, and since we don't get credit for it from the world, I think we should just start leveling these places.

You might want to let us know which country you are from, Pedja, so we can make sure we don't "intervene" if your neighbor overruns you. We've spilled enough American blood in Europe, and we should never make that mistake again. The French evidently don't care that they are no speaking German today because of men like my father, who waded ashore at Normandy 30 days after so many of our men lost their lives there. We should dig up and bring home every one of those Americans in those grave yards over there.
Your right there Frank. The world accuses us of it,
so damn why not just do it? Level the cities!

Indeed, did you hear about the WW2 Vet down in Miami a few years ago?
French consulte down there sent him a certificate all "thanks about WW2"
and he sent it back with a nice nasty note attached to it.

And while we pulling home every American, let's cut off trade!
Wow! Imagine the pain on the world economy right there.

And since we're going to do that, why not cut all those "aid" programs?
Don't we still regularly send money to the French and what not?

Ohh and my absolute favorite! Let's kick the UN outta New York!

    YES! Its the perfect plan!

Here's a good link to the type of combat we're doing ... night vision goggles that can see 1 mile, to accurately target the enemy while he pops his head out of a window, lobbing a mortar shell to that window:

No one else in the world takes this much care to kill the enemy, even when he is illegally and immorally using civilians as "human shields", without incurring collateral damage.

Overwhelming force, yes, but also technology to reduce the amount of innocents killed. But I don't know why we bother ... we don't get credit for it. Leveling the city would be much easier.

This war is really a test for many new technologies and the tactics that have evolved from their use. Reduced civilian casualties maybe the result of using the new technologies but I doubt that will a major criteria in judging their usefulness in this war. The cost of the new technologies may out weigh their benefits. Nothing like winning the battle but losing the war because you go bankrupt. Leveling the city maybe much easier but more importantly it maybe more cost effective using standard low-tech munitions.

No one gets credit for doing what's right or expected of them.

That is nice for youngsters who like weapons. It os good for popular military science TV shows.

The real life is quite different.

US army uses radioactive projectiles which effects cannot be controlled and poison the land for long time. Even your soldiers died because they were operating in such areas.

Actually if you do have such precise weapons why then you kill civilians? You do not know how to use them? Most targets your army attacks are clearly civilan with no evidence that they are used for military operations. Shoting schools, hospitals, power plants, TV transpitters, trains, buses.. it is not possible if you have such weapons.

Point is that your amy's official policy IS to destroy civilian targets with intention to demoralize enemy's army.

Too many civilians died from your so precise weapons that you can stil hold that story that you are avoiding civilians casualties and that you have technologies that allows you to choose target precisely.

It cannot be both. Either you do have unprecise weapons and kill civilians by mistake or you do have precise weapons and kill them on purpose.

In both ways you are bad, noone likes you, and lots of them hate you. You are mixture of people with bad intentions, people of ignorance, people who hate everything that is not like you, and especialy if it is better, people who like violence of any kind, and people who simply do not care about anything. That makes you the greatest evil for this world.

Remember Jonathan's words: "Level the cities" and live with that. It presents the best picture how moraly sick you are as an nation.

I doubt any civil discourse will follow, I think this thread should be closed.
