    Need an Opinion...

With some recent changes to some of my sites, I have decided to discontinue using a domain. The only problem I forsee right now is that my wife uses it as her primary mail server.

    1. Should I just create an account with 50MB/1GB settings so that she can continue to get her mail there or forward it to another account?

    2. If I park the domain at another account, will the mail.domainname.com still work?

    3. Should I just tell her to suck it up and start using the new domain and account I just created her...

I'd say, to prevent your wife from killing you and us losing a fellow Dathornian,
to simply put an index.php Perment Redirect (301) file there, and in the
      CGI-BIN.

Also downgrade tis account to about 25MB/space, and
500MB/bandwidth, and let your wife just continue using it.

I would think that #2 would work just fine. When you park a domain it does create a zone file for that domain including mail.domain.com. You can create email accounts for it just as if it were a regular domain.

This was the answer I was hoping for. I couldn't remember for the life of me if the zone was created when you park a domain, if I had to do it manually or if it did it at all. I will just park her domain on her new account and be done with it. Everyone is happy and I gain 25MB and 500MB bandwidth for another account...
