Odd referrals

I've noticed for the past few months that my statistics have been riddled with referrals from far from normal websites.
Yet whenever i go to one of these addresses, it just shows a hosting account suspended page or some other spam related information.
To get an understanding for what i mean, here is a screen shot:


I'm just wondering if anyone has a logical explanation for this?
If this affects anyone elses statistics?
Whether there's a way to stop it from happening?

I get referer spam mostly from porn sites. Looks like you get a better class of spam.

Oh, they're the clean ones! I don't understand why they would want to refer to my website in the first place!
The oddest thing is that when you visit one of those links, it has nothing to do with my website, no links, no "nothing" so to speak!
