That is small app that runs on Linux machine to produce PNG/JPG snapshot of wanted URL.

Is this possible to be used on dathorn's site?

from the looks of this it actually has to be installed on linux and compiled there. Thus i don't think you can use it remotely.

Robert Cohen created "Thummer" which will do this, but it runs on your machine rather than the server. I have it to create thumbnails of HTML template files I have on my machine to send to clients who are looking for designs. It works well, either taking the thumbnails from a list of files or a single URL or file spec. It is listed on some of the shareware sites, like http://www.sofotex.com/Web-Thummer-download_L25821.html

I do not need remote solution. I am creating url cataloguing site and I want to have snapshots of each url so i hoped this may be put on server and used that way.
