Just to let you know, MacAddict Forums with over 700,000 posts just switched from phpBB to punBB. I will probably be doing the same for Vegas215 Forums when I get time.

BTW, I am not a Mac user but I have participated in a few of their forums.

The last punBB (not sure which vers.) I used had a simplified but
effective admin panel.. I like punBB alot, very light and easy to customize

I've been using a small punbb board as well. It's along the lines of "keep it simple" and I like it because it doesn't have all the baggage of most other forums software.

The one thing I wish for is private messaging. They say they'll never include it in the interest of keeping the software lightweight. Integration into Mambo would be nice too.
