Thought it was dath horn. Going to be hard to get use to saying Day Horn, not that I walk around my apartment uttering Day Horn all day.

I've been going by Da-Thorn. Oh well, nice to know (this is the problem with the internet, too many things are read and not spoken!). :P

Yes, but reviewum- to make that work, out would probably have to draw out the first sylabble, like daaaaaaaah-thorn.

Then, in order to facilitate frequently ferocious phonetic fanatics, you might also have to place a strong emphasis on the second sylabble, like daaaaaaaah-THORN!

But then this COULD lead to creating sounds similar to the "wierding module" from Frank Herbert's DUNE, which of course contain the capability to catastrophically collapse an entire building. If this occured at the Data Center, we might all become subject to a long and inconvenient interruption of service.

So........ please produce prodigeous pronunciations placidly! Or we could all be in trouble.

I don't care what anybody says.... .gif is pronounced like "gift" and jif... well, it would be pronounce like the peanut butter! I don't even care if the old school creators told me I was wrong. I've been in enough communication classes to know that language is evolving and is based on usage! That's how "doh" and "yadda-yadda-yadda" make it in the dictionary.

By the way, not really pronounciation, but do you ever hear people say, "I could care less!" Well, totally wrong! "I COULDN'T care less!"

Another question. Is MySQL pronounce seequal or S.Q.L ?
