I'll admit to being one who doesn't check in here as often as I should.

I thought I'd subscribed to the announcment forum at some point...but I guess I was wrong. I've now fixed that so that I'll get notice of all new announcements. Thanks Andrew!

However, it is not convenient to check these forums regularly, even weekly. Particularly since many or most of the announcements are not relevant to my needs.

why not just send out a massmail to anyone who elects to receive special offers and such? It is more time efficient for the user.

Also, I would like to take a moment to stress how important it is to check our
announcements forum frequently as there are many of you that are not doing so.
We very rarely send out e-mails to everyone, our primary method of contact is
through our announcements forum where we post everything from scheduled
maintenance to special offers such as this. In the future, e-mails will more
than likely not be sent out regarding these special offers, so it is in your own
best interest (in many ways) to check our announcements forum at least one per
week.

You can subscribe to the announcements forum which will then send you an e-mail when there is a new topic.

Andrew, just to point out, you've contradicted yourself with your latest post in the announcements thread.

If you decide to downgrade your account you will lose the double special.

Yet when Grunfield asked this question earlier...

Questions for you Andrew, if we up or down grade our package AFTER taking the special do we get to kept the bandwidth special...??
