    Spam Drastically Fallen off?

Anyone else seeing this. Started last week sometime. It may be system wide as I saw one mention of it elsewhrere.

I'm getting a very low rate of the spam I was getting. Maybe it's that virus that has been flooding the internet lately and the ISP are just sick of it.

    Andrew: please opine.

I feel lonely now. : No one sends me email. Ha. Ha.

Really? Odd. Seems same level before for me- one or two a month.
Client side catchs the rest (if there is any) I s'pose.

However my mother's ISP email has been going flooded like insane last 3 or so days.

I think some of the filters have caught up to the latest techniques ... emails that contain only an image, stock tips emails, etc. I have noticed better filtering from the several sources I'm exposed to.

            spam fall off

            it's way down.
my client handles it anyway, but it ain't handling much. ??
            I have consistently received about 60 - 70 spams a day.
Today = 11. And, it's been like this for a about one week.
            No changes have been made.

I have noticed a drop in spam related emails to my account also.

Maybe more ISPs are starting to use intelligent techniques to stop spam getting out in the first place.
It could also be that ISP's are starting to collaborate, a little like this article from a year ago states: http://www.silicon.com/research/spec...9121601,00.htm

Thanks. I was just wondering if you were on one of the servers that cPanel had recently been upgraded on, but in fact nothing has been changed on cpanel23 either.
