As long as you did not enter IP addresses when using those DNS servers you do not have to change anything for the move to cpanel38.

      Any update on PHP5?

Just wondering if there was any update on when PHP5 would be avaliable on cpanel 14 or 18?

      Thanks!

PHP5 is still in the works and will not even be on those servers until they are upgraded to the new platform if it was available.

When will the ClientExec Licenses be available here at Dathorn?

          Can anyone tell me:

          1. When will the ClientExec Licenses be available here at Dathorn?

          2. Are there any limit (number of license) for the CE licenses we can order here at Dathorn?

            1. These should be available within the next couple of weeks.

            2. ClientExec licenses can only be issued one per domain that is hosted with us.

              PHP 5 and "register_globals" ?

Does that mean that register_globals becomes off the day php becomes 5 ?

For PHP 5, possibly. It really is way overdue for developers to be coding expecting to use register_globals. It's nothing more than a silly shortcut that causes security issues.

PHPBB3 requires register globals off to install :] i too code for the globals being off and still there are some flaws in the code, variables that need to be unset sometimes. it would be a great thing if we could switch register globals off via htaccess :]

We'll see how it goes when the time comes. That's all I can really say at this point.

Is there a way to check the phpinfo for php5 on the new servers? Might help answer some of these php5 questions.

PHP 5 is not available at this time.

                        2) PHP5 - This will be available on all new servers as soon as a stable and cPanel compatible solution is available to run PHP4 w/ phpsuexec and PHP 5.1.2+ as CGI. We're mostly just waiting on cPanel for this as right now only 5.0.x solutions exist.
