    Reservations....

I'll admit that I'm having too many reservations about going into the web hosting business. These reasons seem to convince me that I should make my investment on another endevour.

    1. I poured throught 1000's of possible names. Even offered to pay $100.00 cash if someone could come up with a name. Also, offered years of free hosting. The simple problem is they are all taken! This points to an oversaturated market.

    2. In a market this saturated, I CAN provide good service. The only problem is the pay would be so low that I would either break even or not have enough to pay for my gas. I really would like to do something that I can make money on. Lets say a few years down the road, I would like to have a good part time income at the very least.

    3. For right now, I'm holding back those investment funds. That's good money that could be spent on going back to college, upgrading my home, and well lots of goodies. Of course, If I come up with a more lucrative business plan, I may certainly change my mind. For now, web hosting just does not seem to pay very well.

Start Small and work your way Up.........
Talk to your business contacts, friends etc make them some offers and see if you get any bites, if you offer web design on top of it then you can PICK & CHOOSE the clients you want while you grow your business...... IF web design is not your bag , then find someone that will work with you by combining your talents you can both end up doing what you want to do. You both have talents that will produce a end result of a happy customer and you both can make some money....

As you grow the business grows and you are working with cleints you choose to work with a win win to all and you don;t blow big bucks only to find out that the "hosting" business is cut throat, dime a dozen scammers etc.... and some very good hosting companies., you don't need those headaches...
Look here at Dathorn and how solid a business plan Dathorn has and is growing but at Andrews pace all planned and laid out
