    Client invoicing (re Dathorn poll)

I answered the Dathorn questionnaire, and noticed a question about whether I might be interested in a client billing feature if it were in the $4/mo range (I think I answered "maybe"). In the days since, I've been contemplating future expansion of services, and I definitely need to look into billing solutions.

Andrew, do you have a particular billing application in mind? It would be important that it can handle recurring billing automatically - being able to send out a PayPal invoice or regular invoice (according to customer payment preference). The thing that I'm already facing is keeping track of who owes what when, so that would be well worth $4/mo to me.

Was this just a "feel in the dark," or is it something you're seriously considering for the near future? (I'm going to want something by May, I think.)

    Thx.

Hm. As I'm reviewing things, is this question referring to ClientExec?

We've been hearing that's been coming "in 1-2 weeks" since mid-January.

    I'm just saying....

Yes, the question did even mention ClientExec. It should be available soon.

I am not doing classic resseling but more hosting for my own clients so I do not actually need invoicing, but I would like to have something much simpler: a kind of reminder for each cpanel account, that could be set to inform me, and my client that account is about to expire. It does not even have to actually suspend account on expiration, jsut to send email notification.

So if there is some chance that you can offer such option, I am in.

We only plan on offering ClientExec. If that's all you need you may find it is simpler to write it yourself because many software packages will come with much more than that.

Sure, I can write it by myself, but the point is that it should be integraded within Cpanel.

I bought a ClientExec license outright a year or so ago. It works great.

Is there any more precise 'expected availability for clientexec'? or will it always be "in the near future"?

                      ClientExec licenses are now available.

ClientExec licenses are now available directly from us for $4.00/month/domain (retail: $11.95/month). You can login to your customer control panel and request one via the "ClientExec Licenses" link. Note that these licenses can only be used on domains that are hosted on our servers.
