Link Directory Software

I am looking for advice on software to use in creating a link directory on a site.... I was doing some reading the one in c-panel doesn't seem very secure...
Any suggestions for a program to use .

I use WSNLINKS from http://www.wsnlinks.com on two sites, and I like the program. There is a free Java program available that helps import categories and links from dmoz.org to help build an initial "library" of them. It is updated regularly.
