We're in the process of overhauling our website along with the customer control panel. Ultimately the "design" will be something much simpler and more informative than what it is now. This will take us several months to complete and fully integrate with our customer control panel but we would like your input on this as well. If you can think of anything that you would like changed or added please post it here. We already have several things in mind but we're certainly open to new ideas as well.

Would be nice to have direct links to our WHM control panels directly from the customer control panel.
Also I noticed under "Extras" in our current CCP there is an area for "Postini Accounts" I do have a Postini account, but I don't have it listed in there (not yet scripted in, or mistake on your side perhaps)?

After my mistake just a few minutes ago (Andrew knows, lol)
any way to setup 1 login for the CCP, even if you have multiple accounts? Mainly, so I can quit wasting tech support's time when I post a trouble ticket on the wrong login.
**Edit well, I was logging into the completely wrong account. My postini info is in my correct account. Had the wrong info sitting in my email.

Combining multiple CCP accounts that are spread across multiple cPanel server poses a problem from a support standpoint. Though it would be perfectly feasible to allow the "linking" of accounts such that you could link several together and then have the ability to switch between them all when you login to one of them. How does that sound?Comment

I must be getting old because can't remember where I am. I'd like to see the Sever IP, name and primary/secondary DNS in the overview. The last half dozen times I've logged in, it's been just for that info."Whatcha mean I shouldn't be rude to my clients?! If you want polite then there will be a substantial fee increase." - BuddhaComment

Besides link to WHM, it would be good to have list of all cpanel accounts on to choosen WHM with links both to cpanel site and site address.
One thing that I miss in whm is ability to see DNS zone for choosen domain but not for editing but as plain ascii file so I can copy and paste it for backup purpose. You could provide that info within your site.
What i miss in WHM is that when i log in to whm account, there is no info what package I am using, what resources are available and what resources are used. Actually there is some info when you go to Create New account, at the bottom. Your site could show something like that.
Is it possible to show history of resource usage, i mean mostly CPU and memory, but disk usage could be monitored too, so we can track down if there are periods of high resource usage, and monitor how sites grow to the point when we should do something about it?Comment

1. You can login to WHM for the particular account and easily see all cPanel accounts that you have.1. Besides link to WHM, it would be good to have list of all cpanel accounts on to choosen WHM with links both to cpanel site and site address.

2. If you submit a ticket we can provide you with a copy of the DNS zone that you can copy/paste.
3. If you go to the create account page in WHM, just below the form there is a list of your current allocation limits and usage. Our new CCP will also display more detailed information regarding the services that you are paying for besides just the name and price (ex: resources).
4. This is more of a WHM feature, not a feature for our CCP. But this is why we notify you if any problems occur. However, it may be possible to integrate something like this along with our existing system monitoring which I might consider.Last edited by AndrewT; 04-26-2007, 09:54 AM.Comment

It is easier for me to make an error entry in DNS zone, forcing cpanel to show me error message, which contains exaclty cupy&pasteable DNS zome inforamtion, than having to post TT adn wait for support (althrough support is usually very qick reposnding).Comment
